Now available on the Visual Studio Code Marketplace, these extensions allow developers to work in Visual Studio Code while taking advantage of the powerful capabilities of IAR Systems software solutions specializing in embedded systems.
For many years, IAR Systems and Azure RTOS have provided the highest level of product integration, including the integration of the Azure RTOS ThreadX kernel into the IAR Embedded Workbench debugger. This state-of-the-art debugger integration with Microsoft’s Embedded Tools extension includes the ability to view all Azure RTOS ThreadX objects, set thread-specific breakpoints, view call stacks of suspended threads, and View single execution profile and performance monitoring features in Azure. RTOSX thread. New extensions from IAR Systems bring the same high-level features and integration to the Visual Studio Code community. Additionally, it provides IoT developers with a seamless development experience from prototyping to delivered product, enabling a fully automated development workflow based on GitHub.
